Shopfront Donations – support for young people aged 8 to 25 years

Shopfront delivers powerful artistic projects at the forefront of contemporary practice and technologies, empowering young artists to have a more cogent voice, a stronger impact in their communities and an impact on the cultural life of Australia. We have been working in the community for 34 years, providing a space for all young people, regardless of background or ability, to engage in the dynamic program at their point of need and interest.

We rely on community support to ensure young people and their stories are heard

Shopfront encourages the growth and self expression of young people through a number of art forms. Involvement at Shopfront develops technical and creative skills, and builds confidence, motivation and self esteem. Most importantly it allows young people to connect with peers and the community in a positive and meaningful way.

How will the funds be used?

Shopfront provides a substantial Outreach Program facilitating open access to all resources for young people experiencing disadvantage or hardship. Funds will support the placement of such a young person in the skills development program, and the provision of tools and materials to ensure high quality outcomes for individuals.
