GETTING HERE
Train: The closest accessible train station is Carlton Train Station (10 mins). When you leave the station you have to walk up an incline to get to the theatre, but the streets immediately surrounding the theatre are mostly flat. Kogarah Train Station (20 mins) and Allawah Train Station (15 mins) are also nearby.
Bus: The following buses will get you to Shopfront. Through Hurstville: 453, 455, 947. Other directions: 422, 430, 446, 455, 476, 477.
Parking: Non-designated parking is available in the surrounding streets. Parking is free but please check signs for parking limits.
ACCESSIBILITY
Shopfront is currently under renovation, which is affecting accessibility. If you would like to see photos of the portable ramps and/or bathroom, to enable you to assess your access needs, please email hello@shopfront.org.au
Theatre access: Entry to Shopfront Arts Co-op is through the Theatre Door located at 2 High Street which has two steps. There is also a further step to get from the theatre out to the bathroom facilities, which are in a separate building at the back. Two portable ramps are available to bridge these steps. See photos.
Accessible Toilet: Our accessible toilet is currently under renovation. A temporary alternative has been created in the standard bathrooms. A wall has been knocked out between two stalls, creating one larger stall. The door has been hinged so it swings outwards, to create further space within the stall. Please be aware that there are no grab-rails within the stall and there are still two toilet bowls which can restrict turning space somewhat
