Shopfront has a dedicated, hard working and fun core staff team who work with our community to keep Shopfront running.

DRAMA FACILITATOR 2024

The role is Wednesday and/or Saturdays at Shopfront during term times. You will deliver weekly workshops for Young People 8-10 years, 11-14 years & 15-17 years. The right applicant should be an experienced facilitator, with a keen interest in developing a yearly program alongside our Director: Access and Inclusion.
Contracts will be offered on a part-time basis.

FILM FACILITATOR 2024

The role is Saturdays at Shopfront during term times. You will deliver weekly workshops for Young People 8-10 years, 11-14 years & 15-17 years. The right applicant should be experienced in film making, with an interest in developing a yearly education program around film, working on a set, story-telling and editing, working with the Young People to create original films.
Contracts will be offered on a part-time basis.

TRAINEE FACILITATOR 2024

We are seeking four trainee facilitators, interested in working with experienced artists to deepen their facilitation skills in the following artforms:
1 x trainee Visual Art Facilitator (Wednesday PM)

1 x trainee Drama Facilitator (Wednesday (PM) & Saturday)
1x trainee Film Facilitator (Saturday)
1 x trainee Technical Theatre Facilitator (Saturday)
Trainee facilitators will work with their lead facilitator, learning about how to plan ongoing education programs and workshops, and becoming experienced facilitators ready to take on lead roles following this training.

Interested in finding out more about a career in the arts and working with Young People? We have a number of places each year for school, TAFE and university students looking for work experience or student placements. These places are in high demand, so get in early! Complete our Work Experience Expression of Interest.

We are currently seeking submissions to sit on our Board of Directors. This is a voluntary position, which would allow you to help support our Young People and be part of the governance of Shopfront Arts Co-Op.

No prior Board Experience is necessary.
