As an arts co-op, we are all about supporting the art you, our members, want to make. So if you have a vision we’d love to help it become a reality!
Every year we support the development of a member project by offering mentorship, access to performance spaces, free workshops, dramaturgical support and a season here at Shopfront! Your project can take the form of any live experience whether it be multi-media, dance, more traditional theatre or something else entirely as long as it’s original, innovative, and driven by Young People in key creative roles. For this opportunity we are also only looking for works that haven’t already been produced elsewhere.
In the lead up to the Pitch Night on 12 August, we are also holding an Info Session on 6 August with Shopfront’s Creative Director, Natalie Rose. So if you are nervous about pitching your ideas or don’t know how to go about your registration, have no fear! We’re here to support you throughout the process.
Members’ Pitch Night and Production opportunities are open to Shopfront members aged 16+. At Shopfront we welcome diversity and encourage registrations from artists of all backgrounds and abilities.
