|In 2017 Shopfront is excited to be working with Advance Diversity Services, Enough is Enough, Al-Zahra Muslim Association and our local councils to create and deliver new programs. The programs respond directly to local need, and are planned and built throughout the year. Programs include multi-faith work, socially-engaged film making programs, and celebrating important days like International Women’s Day. We’ll keep you updated on these programs and everything you can do and see via our website, e-news and social media.|
PARTNER WITH US
|Shopfront is a non-profit cooperative and registered charity and thus we are able to run our programs through grants, donations and sponsorship from Government, philantrophic foundations and the generosity of individuals and businesses. Shopfront acknowledges the assistance and generous support from our core funding bodies.
Shopfront’s sustained partnerships are key to the impact of the company’s work with young people in the community. We collaborate with schools and community organisations to connect professional artists with over 500 young people each year, exploring the contemporary arts guided by the power of young people’s opinions, experiences and curiosity. Shopfront co-plans with community partners to address areas of creative enquiry that are of interest to each partner, and the company aims to develop partnerships over a number of years.
