David is a multidisciplinary artist engaged in stage and screen. Since graduating from UOW (BCA Dean’s Scholar) and AFTRS, he has worked locally and internationally as a writer, performer, AV designer and videographer. He has written two feature films, three feature documentaries and three plays to date.
David was selected for both the Arts Front Under 30 Symposium in 2018, and the National Theatre of Parramatta’s Playwrights of Parramatta (PoP) program in 2019. His recent works include: Hit Reset (Shopfront, 2021); Planet B (Shopfront, 2020); Natural Order (Milk Crate Theatre, 2019); Monument (Gom Jabbar, 2018); Unit (Belvoir/Shopfront, 2017); The Forest Unyielding (Self-Help Arts, 2016); Trojans (Team Mess, 2015); Machine (Eclective Productions, 2015); and Carly & Troy Do A Doll’s House (His Three Daughters, 2013).
Outside of his personal practice, David facilitates creative workshops for young people through Shopfront Arts Co-Op and CuriousWorks. He also provides videography through Irony Mark Films. He has two dachshunds and they are long, terrible beasts.
