David is a multidisciplinary artist engaged in stage and screen. Since graduating from the University of Wollongong (BCA Dean’s Scholar) and the Australian Film Television & Radio School, he has worked at home and abroad as a writer, performer, AV designer and videographer. He has written two feature films, three feature documentaries and a play, Monument, which debuted at the 2018 Sydney Fringe Festival.
David’s AV design work includes: Tiny Universe (Shopfront, 2021), Natural Order (Milk Crate Theatre, 2019); Monument (Gom Jabbar, 2018); The Forest Unyielding (Self-Help Arts, 2016); Machine (Eclective Productions, 2015); and Carly & Troy Do A Doll’s House (His Three Daughters, 2013). In 2020, he acted as cinematographer and editor to convert Shopfront’s Senior Ensemble production Planet B (dir. Miranda Middleton) to film.
Alongside workshop facilitation, David provides videography to creative businesses through Irony Mark Films. He has two dachshunds and they are long, terrible beasts.
