Lily Hayman is a director, writer and performer who grew up on the land of the Dharawal people. She trained at the University of Wollongong, where she graduated from the Bachelor of Performance (Dean’s Scholar) with distinction and received her First-Class Honours in Creative Arts (Theatre). Lily enjoys creating her own work and has most recently written and directed The Infinity Mirror created for Shopfront’s ArtsLab residency program and Fledgling as part of the MerrigongX 2021 program. Lily has performed multiple times with Shopfront including in their inaugural co-production with Milk Crate Theatre Tiny Universe as well as performing in multiple ArtsLab and Members Productions. She has experience facilitating workshops for Young People with Shopfront and in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas and has a passion for providing Young People with the tools to use their own voices how they choose to. She believes that the world needs a little creativity right now, and loves to teach Young People how to access their own.
