Liz Hill was a founding member of Shopfront after attending school holiday workshops in 1976.
Liz devised, performed and directed plays and then went on to be a board member and Chairperson of Shopfront at various times. Her first job in the arts was Dance Coordinator for the Sydney Youth Festival, attempting a world record of the largest number of tap dancers dancing the same routine at the same time.
Liz has a BA (Hons) in Government and Public Administration (USYD) and an MA in Theatre Studies (UNSW) and went on to have a varied career in youth policy and projects for government and arts organisations. Liz has a Diploma of Management, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Certificate III in Design Fundamentals and is midway through a Diploma of Visual Arts.
