Nicole Pingon is a multidisciplinary artist, theatre maker and facilitator working across live performance, installation and digital mediums. Most recently, she participated in CAAP’s inaugural Artist Lab, and was a 2020 participant in the Wheeler Centre’s Signal Boost programme, supporting emerging audio makers. She has been a Shopfront ArtsLab artist-in-residence, part of CuriousWorks’ Makers Space Program and KXT’s Step Up Program. She has experience facilitating workshops for Young People with Shopfront, Little Eggs Collective and in schools and Chinese Seniors with the City of Sydney. In 2021, she will be co-directing Blush Opera’s Chop Chef at Riverside Theatres, and assistant directing Michelle Law’s Miss Peony at Belvoir St Theatre.
