Valentina has a background in arts journalism, marketing and PR, and has worked across a range of arts and culture festivals in Adelaide and Edinburgh.
She graduated with a Bachelor in Media and Public Relations (Hons) in Edinburgh in 2016, and throughout her studies continuously supported the Arts through festivals. Valentina worked on the social media team for the Edinburgh Hogmanay New Year’s festival 2015/2016, delivered the digital marketing strategy for the Big Discovery, a multi-venue music festival, and was the Media Relations Coordinator for Festivals Edinburgh, the organisation supporting Edinburgh’s twelve year-round festivals.
Most recently, Valentina worked for the Adelaide Festival of Arts 2017 in a marketing and publicity capacity before joining the team as the Director of Young Audience Development, working on Playwave a new audience development scheme for young people.
Valentina is an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aider
